We all love surprises, but not when it’s a surprise bill from your accountant. That’s why we tell you upfront exactly what work we are going to do for you, exactly what it will cost, and when you will need to pay.
When we meet, we will talk you through the services we offer, and all the options we recommend for you, and let you know what the price will be. It’s then up to you how much or how little you would like us to do for you. We will also let you know what you could do yourself to reduce the fee – after all, it’s important to us that you are happy with the value of the work we’re doing for you.
We will then put in writing exactly what we will do, and what the fee will be, and ask you to agree that this is what you want from us.
If during the course of the work we identify any additional requirements, or you ask us to do something that wasn’t originally discussed, we will let you know whether there will be an additional cost. And again, we won’t start until you have agreed to the work we will do.
As accountants, cost-efficiency is in our DNA, so we want the same for our clients. That’s why it’s so important that you’re delighted with what we do for you… and with no surprise bills. Ever.
